Peacefully with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Tuesday, August 29, 2023 of Marie F. Duncan (nee Avery) of Charlottetown age 66 years.

Beloved wife of the late Richard "Rickey" Duncan. Dear mother of Darren Duncan (Bridget) and Jenifer Nichol (Marty). Loving and proud Nanny of Megan Shea, and Ella and Duncan Nichol.
Daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Avery and daughter-in-law of Olive and the late Jackie Duncan. Dear sister of Aletha Mullally (Richard dec.), Barb Boudreau (Dennis), Nora Maltais (Claude), Brian Avery (dec.)( Freda), Norman Avery (dec.)(Marion), Martin Avery (Earla), Donnie Avery (Catherine), Robert Avery, John Avery (Betty), Kent Avery (Terry), Michael Avery (Theresa) and Theresa McPhee (Frank dec.). Sister-in-law to Ree Praught (Mike), Cheryl Dugal (Pierre), Faye Saunders (Paul), David Duncan (dec.), Robbie Duncan (Becky), and Michelle Biso (Jamie). Marie will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and fur grand babies, Ryder, Karma., Mahzy and Sadie.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Monday, September 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 5th with funeral mass from the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
