Amal Rashed
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, April 28, 2023 of Mrs. Amal Rashed (nee Elias) of Charlottetown, age 72 years. Beloved wife of Souhail "Cy" Rashed and dear mother of Diane (Eddie) MacKenzie, Jimmy (Nadeen) Rashed and Raymon (Dalia) Rashed. She is also lovingly remembered by her loving grandchildren James, Joshua, Natalia, Ethan, Adrianna and Austin; sisters, Maha Ibrahim and Violette (Samir) Khoury; sisters-in-law Amal, Jano Elias and Laura Zakem; brothers-in-law Labeeb Rashed, Elias (Fadia) Rashed and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents Milia (nee Saab) and Elias Elias; siblings, Olivia Raachini (Abdu), Najla Ibrahim (Philippe), Ida Abou Nakoul (Mikhael), Luis Elias, Hannah Elias and Joseph Elias; sisters-in-law Jean Rashed, Emily Nasrallah (Philip) and brothers-in-law Arif Ibrahim, George Rashed (Daad, Sandra), Abe Zakem.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday, May 2then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours on Monday 4 - 7 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Online condolences may be made at www.islandowned.ca
