Peacefully at the Whisperwood Villa on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, of Reginald (Reg) Gormley of Charlottetown, age 72 years. Reg was the son of the late Maurice and Edna Gormley (deceased). Beloved husband to the love of his life Cecelia Gormley (previously deceased) for 49 years. Cherished father of Rachel Jones (Greg), Rhonda Gormley, and Chris Gormley. Loving Grandfather to Jessica Crosby (Mike), Michael Jones (previously deceased), Jeff Jones, Ashley Gormley (Brandon), Keisha Gormley (previously deceased) Chelsea Gormley, and Mya Gormley. Great-grandfather of Leia Ford, Jace Robertson, and Noah Ford. Dear siblings of Mary, Johnny (Brenda), Patsy, Melvin (Jennifer), Joe (Marian), Paul (Tracy), Nancy, Lorne (previously deceased), Doris (previously deceased), and Sandra (previously deceased).
Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, April 17, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
