Paul H.R. Fisher

At his late residence on Monday, November 29, 2021 of Paul Fisher of Bonshaw, age 73 years. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor Condon; dear father of Mark (Shona) Fisher and loving grandfather of Cash. Also survived by nephew Troy Bordage.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Florence (nee Buote) Fisher; his sister Helen (Clovis "Kaw-Liga") Bordage and nephews Trevor and Kyle Bordage. 

"For many years, Paul used his training as a red seal chef in kitchens around the Island. His true passions however, were his love for his dear Eleanor, his family, the cats, and woodworking. A perfectionist of this craft, Paul’s woodworking included beautiful lighthouses, birds, bee houses and birdhouses that found homes in many places.

Not one to leave out details, if Paul was telling you a story (and you forgot to ask for the "Coles Notes" version), you could find yourself listening and laughing for quite a while. 

Paul will be missed, but he is finally with Eleanor, who he felt such a deep loss and heartbreak for, that he was never the same without. 

Many thanks to the family and friends who spent time with Paul, and those who were fortunate enough to know the chuckle and see the twinkle in his eyes. "

 

No visitation or funeral service by personal request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the PEI Humane Society or the Dialysis Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
