Genevieve "Gen" Affleck
1923-2015
Peacefully at the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 of Genevieve "Gen" Affleck of Mount Stewart in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Affleck and dear mother of Clifford (Velma) Affleck, Shirley (Brian) MacDonald, Kay Affleck, Allan (Annette) Affleck, Brenda Weatherbie and Barb (Ivan) Feehan. Cherished "Nanny Crow" to her grandchildren Juanita, Paula, Joey, Sherri, Mike, Heather, Juliana, Jeff, Amy, Kristina, Brian, Mathew, Kandy, Kelly Kenny, Krystal, Tyler, Kayla, Derrick, Melissa and to her 24 great grandchildren. Gen is also lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Affleck.. She was also predeceased by her sons Percy, Billy, infant son Wilfred, brothers Lyle and Damien Feehan.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart for funeral mass at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Gen may be made to St. Andrew’s Cemetery Fund.
