Vernon Roland Rogers

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday July 4th, 2015, the death occurred of Vernon Roland Rogers , age 86, of Charlottetown. Born in Marshfield, PE, he was a son of the late Raymond and Emma Louise (nee Blacquiere) Rogers.

Dear brother of Jean Rogers, Evelyn Holliway, Doris Turner, Lloyd Rogers, Shirley MacEachern and Roy Rogers. He is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Derma Kochan, Sister Alfreda Rogers CND and Hilda Fawson; and brother Wally Rogers.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Visiting hours on Monday from 6-8 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service prior to visitation at 5:45 p.m.

Donations in memory of Vernon may be made to the Upper Room.
