Eileen Agnes Hunter (nee Curley)

Peacefully with her family at her side at The Mount Continuing Care Community on Sunday, June 7, 2015 of Eileen Agnes Hunter (nee Curley) of Charlottetown age 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hunter and dear mother of Sandra (Bob) King, Ian (Shirley) Hunter, Vicki (Kevin) Kemlo of Calgary, Alberta, Marjorie Hunter of Vancouver, B.C. , Patty Hunter of Alberta, Marlene (Harry) O’Neil of Halifax, N.S. and Terry Hunter of Ottawa, Ont. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of the Curley family being predeceased by her sisters, Betty MacIntyre, Glady Melanson, Pat Duffy, Kathleen Bennett, Ev McLellan, Isabel Dennis and brothers Maurice, Richard, Pius, Francis (Bud), and Joseph (Jim) Curley.

Eileen’s family would like to thank Dr. Champion, nurses and staff of the Mount Continuing Care Community for their thoughtful loving care given to her.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
