Marion Isabel Gallant
1934-2015
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with family by her side, on Wednesday May 13, 2015, the death occurred of Marion Isabel Gallant (nee Coburn), age 81, of Charlottetown.
Lovingly remembered by her sons James and David (Pauline) Gallant; daughters Janice (Peter) McLaine and Sherri (Jack MacEachern) Gallant; grandchildren Alex, Michael, Amy, Fallon and Stephen; great-grandchildren Laura, Sarah, Corbin and Ava; sister Alice (Carl) MacDougall.
Marion was predeceased by her husband Joseph "Sonny" Gallant; parents David and Barbara Ann (nee Drane) Coburn; son Michael; brother David Coburn; sister Jenny Drane.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-8 p.m.
Donations in memory of Marion may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Dialysis Unit.
