William Alphonsus "Bill" Coady
1940-2015
After a long and courageous battle with cancer Bill Coady, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Libby" (nee Gaudet) Coady. Dear father of Tara (Brent) MacKinnon and loving grampy of Ryan and Dylan MacKinnon all of Thornhill, Ont. He is also survived by his sister, Estelle (Gilbert) Egan; brothers, Linus (Bernice) Coady and Reg (Cheryl) Coady; brothers and sisters-in-law Andrea (Skip) Thomsen, Paulette (David) Hooley, Jean Gaudet, John (Karen) Gaudet and Jeff (Christina) Gaudet.
He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Mary Ellen "Ella" (nee MacKinnon) Coady.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until 10:15 Monday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
Visiting hours on Sunday 2 - 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to the Home Care Palliative Care Program or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
