1938-2015

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 of Garnet Daniel Steele of Charlottetown in his 77^th year.

Beloved husband of Lorna (nee Dennis) and dear father of Denise (Richard) Gallant, Gina (Dwayne) MacEwen, Andrea Steele and Danny (Candice) Steele. Loving Grampy to Jordan and Alex Gallant, Cameron and Evan MacEwen and Shelby Steele. Garnet is also survived by his sister Frances Hughes. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Muriel (Doyle) Steele, sisters and brothers Mary MacGillivary, Phillip Steele, George Steele, Father Eddie Steele, Bert Steele and Theresa Cairns.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
