Desmond Francis "Desi" Driscoll

On Sunday, March 22, 2015, Desmond "Desi" Francis Driscoll of Stratford, age 74, passed suddenly. Desi was a devoted husband and best friend of 43 years to his wife, Judy (MacDonald) Driscoll. He is survived by his loving daughters, Jodi Driscoll and Kelly (Norman) Dunn. He was a loving Grampie to Harley and Logan Larade and Avery and Jackson Dunn.
Survived by his siblings, Raeburn (Barb) Driscoll, Arlene Doiron, Myra LeClair, Adele (Edison) Shea, Louise (Al) Morrison and Joe Bernard (Kathy) Driscoll; sister-in-law Donna Driscoll; brother-in-law to Billy MacDonald, Peggy Gairns, Bobby (Mary) MacDonald, Frank MacDonald, Dave MacDonald, Mary MacFadyen and Susan MacDonald, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Marjorie; brother, Lawrence Driscoll; mother-in-law, Adeline MacDonald; father-in-law, Frank MacDonald; brother-in-laws, Leo Egan and Bob LeClair; and sister-in-law, Zilda MacDougall.

Desi worked for International Harvester-BJ Truck Parts for over 50 years and was finally going to retire at the end of March. He will always be remembered as a hard-working, devoted and dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday morning and then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 am. Interment at later date. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm.
