Charles Alphonse "Foncie" Doyle
1931-2015
The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, March 12, 2015 of Mr. Charles Alphonse "Foncie" Doyle, of Charlottetown and formerly of Savage Harbour, age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Ida Doyle. Dear brother of Ernest Doyle, Helen Reid, Earl (Joan) Doyle, and Anne Noonan. Charles will also be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Pauline Doyle, Irene Doyle, Denise Doyle, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, Charles was also predeceased by his parents Barbara and Elisha Doyle, sisters Ethel, Mary, Veronica, and brothers Gerald, John, Ronald, Bernard and Leonard.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until 1:20 on Tuesday afternoon, then transferred to St. Andrew's Church, Mt. Stewart for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Interment at a later date in St. Andrew's Parish Cemetery.
Visiting hours were held on Saturday, from 5:00 to 8:00p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles’s memory may be made to St. Andrew's Parish Cemetery Fund.
