Jantina "Tina" Mensink (nee Paalman)

Jantina (Tina) Mensink (Paalman) peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, P.E.I. She is survived by daughter, Maryke (Mensink) Merati (Nader); daughter, Betty (Mensink) Wilcox (John); son, John Mensink (Catherine); brother, Cornelis (Cor) Paalman; granddaughter, Jessica Mensink; special niece, Carla (Paalman) Gervais; special great-niece, Mariah Gervais; special friends, Irene and Henk Ter Beest, Caroline MacQuarrie and Wanda Henry; and her special pets, Jasper and Alie.

Tina was predeceased by her husband, Johannes (John); father, Roelof Paalman; mother, Jantina Klazina Paalman (nee Gunneman); brothers, Hendrik (Henk), Anton, Roelof and Joop; and sisters, Aafina (Aaf) and Johanna (Jo).

Cremation will take place in Prince Edward Island with a memorial service to follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kitchener, ON, at a later date.
