Joseph Dennis Rooney

1941-2015

Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, February 13, 2015 of Joseph Rooney of Charlottetown in his 74th year.

Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Peters) and dear father of Beverley Rooney (Gordie Betts), Jaqueline Rooney and Michelle Rooney. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Taylor, Miranda, Billie and great grandfather of Harlow. Brother of Carol Cusack, Theresa (Sam) Habbi and Martha Cusack. He was predeceased by his daughter Joanne, son Anthony, parents Dennis and Evelyn (MacEachern) Rooney and sister Edna Roberts.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Lung Association.
