Bernadette Eileen Poirier (nee McQuaid)
1944-2015
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital on Sunday, January 18, 2015, the death occurred of Bernadette
Eileen Poirier (nee McQuaid), age 70 years. Born in Charlottetown, she
was a daughter of the late Edward and Katherine (nee Larkin) McQuaid.
Dear mother of Glen (Wendi) Poirier, and
Jeannie (Alan) Mundle. Loving grandmother of Tye, Cole, Luke, and Shay
Poirier. Bernadette is also survived by her brothers Leonard and
Charlie McQuaid; sisters Lorraine (Gary) Hill, Trish (Roger) MacDonald
and Marie (Reggie) Gallant; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by
her beloved husband Eugene; brothers Justin and Kenny McQuaid.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home until Wednesday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church
for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday
from 7-9 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date in the Roman
Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Association (PEI).
