Althea Rebeckah McGuigan

Peacefully, at Beach Grove Home, on Thursday, September 25, 2014, Althea Rebeckah McGuigan of Cornwall, formerly of Charlottetown, age 81 years. Lovingly remembered by her children Janet, David (Patti), Dorothy and Scott MacLeod. Grandchildren Connor and Rebecca MacLeod, Peter MacDonald (Alison), Katherine Finkbeiner, and only great grandchild, Angus MacDonald. Also survived by brother James Sherren (Mary), many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Morson Walter and Florence Sherren (nee Foster), husband Ernest David MacLeod (Cardross), and husband James Reginald McGuigan (St. Marys Road). Also, predeceased by brothers, Norman, Lawrence, Roy, Stanley, Jack, sister Hilda Fulton, and first family siblings of Morson and Elizabeth Sherren (nee McLean) – Althea, Walter, Margaret, Arthur, Francis and William.

Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 pm. Interment later in St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, Sturgeon. Visiting hours on Monday from 1 pm. until time of service.
