Edward F. "Eddie" MacDonald

With his best friend by his side, after a day of doing his favorite thing, fishing, Edward "Eddie" MacDonald of Charlottetown passed into his eternal rest on September 12, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Dianne MacDonald (nee Doiron) and loving father of Melissa MacDonald and Jennifer MacDonald (Matthew Turner). He is also survived by his sisters, Winnie (Robert) Dennis, Helen (Stephen) Hughes, Agnes (Tom) King, Joyce (Tony) Weisz, and Maureen (George) Stojanov; his uncle, Joseph Duffy; father and mother-in-law, Eleanor "Nassie" and Edward Doiron; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Jackie Doiron; his best friend, Catherine Stewart; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at

2 pm. Interment later in the family plot in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Visiting hours on Tuesday evening 6 - 8 pm.
