Stella Dorothy Wakelin
1936-2014
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday,
September 10, 2014 of Mrs. Stella D. Wakelin (nee Ford) of West
Royalty, age 78 years.
Beloved wife of the
late Harry A. Wakelin, and dear mother of Darlene Wakelin, Janette
(Laurie) Paquet, Judy (Chris) Hucz, Cindy (Norman) Birt, Kent
(Jeanette) Wakelin, and Shawn (Patricia) Wakelin.
She is also survived by six loving grandchildren Alicia and
Jillian Birt, Chad and Cory Paquet, Emily and Sarah Wakelin,
great-grandson, Owen Birt, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Fannie
(nee Roberts) Ford, and brothers Ivan, Vernon, Roland, Morrison and
Horace Ford.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the
Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday at 2 pm. Interment to follow in the
family plot at Sherwood Cemetery.

desired, memorial contributions in Stella’s memory may be
made to the PEI Humane Society.
