Joseph Alvin Doucette

Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 of Joseph A. Doucette of Charlottetown, in his 82^nd year.

Dear brother of Walter Doucette, Toni Banks and Barb Condon. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Phyllis Doucette, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ferdiand and Pauline (nee Doiron) Doucette, sisters and brothers, Stella Humble, Edward "Buddy" Doucette, Louie Doucette, Bernard Doucette, Bernice Doucette and Rita O’Keefe.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in The Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Visiting hours at the funeral home on Friday from 6 - 9 p.m. If so desired, contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to IWK Health Centre Foundation. Branch #1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Veteran’s Tribute Service at the funeral home on Friday evening at 5:45 pm. On line condolences may be made at www.islandowned.ca
