Francis Carroll Griffin

Peacefully at the Garden Home on Thursday, August 16, 2012 of Mr. Francis Carroll Griffin of Charlottetown in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of Alice (nee Jackson) and dear father of Dianne Griffin, Gordon (Christine) Griffin, John(Kelly) Griffin, Donna Hughes (Mitchell Weibel) and Michael Griffin.

Grampy of Bobi Jo, Angela, Sarah, Shirley, Alyson, Daphne, Jane, Emily, Patrick Griffin, Hannah and Ben Hughes. Francis is also survived by his sister Peggy LeBlanc.

He was predeceased by his son Roy (Dorothy)

Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
