Helen Norida "Noodie" MacLean (nee Ryan)
1929-2012
Peacefully with her family by her side at the Atlantic Baptist Home on
Saturday, July 14, 2012 of Mrs. Norida "Noodie" MacLean of
Charlottetown in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald "Funnell" MacLean and dear mother of Donnie "Funnel" (Christine) MacLean, Cindy (Jamie) Ballem, and Joanne (Terry) MacLeod.
Loving nanny of five grandchildren, Vanessa, Beckie, Nikalas, Robbie, Ryan and grand nanan to five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Danita (Louie) Simmonds and her brother Bobby Johnston. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law George "Butch" Brown and her brothers Charlie, Arthur, Sterling, and Jimmy..
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 on Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church Charlottetown for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Monday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Ladies Auxiliary of Charlottetown Branch #1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Monday at 4:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I.
