John Arthur Laybolt
1951-2010
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday,
February 6, 2010 of Mr. John A. Laybolt of Charlottetown and formerly
of Canavoy in his 59th year. Beloved husband of the late Sandra (nee
MacKinnon) Laybolt and dear brother of Elva Kennedy, Sterling
(Valerie), Wilfred (Rita), Lorraine Laybolt, Willie (Theresa), Shirley
Irving, Valerie (Kevin) MacKinnon and Kenny. He is also survived by
his mother-in-law Margaret MacKinnon; sister-in-law, Ernestine Laybolt
and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents George
and Nellie (nee Deveaux) Laybolt; brothers, Leamond, Joe, Basil and
his twin sister, Judy Cudmore.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 10:15 Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mt. Stewart for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment later in the parish cemetery.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Q.E.H. Foundation.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.
