Thomas Alfred "Tom" Shoemaker

At the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, on Fathers Day, June 20th in his 86th year, of Thomas Alfred Shoemaker, beloved husband of 62 years to Laura (Sheehan), also survived by his children, Jay (Karianne), Andy (Janet), Mel (Jeannie), Steven (Cynthia), Janell (Corey) Poulton, daughter in law DonnaLee, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sister Doris Johnson, brother Bill Shoemaker, sisters in law, Dolly Paquet, Yvette Sheehan and Bernice Sheehan; also many nieces and nephews from both Canada and the US who loved him dearly.

Predeceased by his sons, Merrill, Tommy and Carl, parents, Mary Shoemaker Meadows and Clarence Shoemaker, sisters, Audrey Stanley, Stella Pennell, Hilda Bailey, Carol Greer and Dolly Shoemaker; parents in law, Margaret and Charles Sheehan, brothers in law, Buddy, Mel and George Sheehan and Fred Paquet.

Due to current restrictions, a private family committal service will be at St Margaret's Cemetery, St Margaret’s, PEI.

No public visiting hours will be held. please make any donations in Tom's memory to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown PEI.
