Florence M "Flo" (nee Heartz) McMurrer
1953-2021
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, May 2, 2021 of Florence M. "Flo" (nee Heartz) McMurrer of Charlottetown, age 68 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordie McMurrer and loving mother of Koreen (Joey) Yorston and Kelly Smith. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren Emma Smith, Logan Smith, Clara Yorston and Sophie Yorston; brothers and sisters Cecelia (Reg) Gormley, Gussie Heartz, Loretta Heartz, Alan Heartz and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents Melvin and Nellie (nee Kelly) Heartz; brothers Frankie Heartz and Freddy Kelly.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dunstan’s Basilica (invitation only). Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
