Mary Dora "Dot" McCabe

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, October 23, 2020 of Dora "Dot"McCabe of Charlottetown age 100 years.Born in Leoville PEI she is the daughter of the late Amable and Julitte (Gaudet) Poirier.

Beloved wife of the late William McCabe. Dear mother of Delma MacMillan (deceased), Cindy Horne (deceased) and Maurice "Moe" McCabe (Margie). Mother-in-law of Dave MacMillan and Willard Horne.
Loving Nana to grandchildren, Dave, Mike, Tracey, Dori Ann, Vanessa, Willie, great grandchildren, Tommy, Liam, Melanie, Emily Ann, Brendon, Brady and great great grandchildren Hollis and Karley-Rose. Dot is also lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews Norma Handrahan (Gerald dec.), Glenda McCabe, Dick Younker, Judy Smallwood, Norah Babineau, Cyril, John Allan, Billy, Ronnie, and Anne MacDonald. She was also predeceased by her brother Alphonse (Margaret) and sister Delma. Special thanks to Margie MacLure for the loving care she gave to Dot.

Dot was a faithful member of the Catholic Womens League for 80 years.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Due to current restrictions a private family visitation will be held at the funeral home and funeral mass by invitation will be held at St. Pius X Church with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
