Gerarda Bernard
1944-2020
Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, July 30, 2020 of Gerarda Bernard of Clyde River and formerly of Charlottetown, age 75 years. Loving mother of Mike (Tanya) MacKinnon, Laura Lee (Robert) Wakelin, Treena (Donna Murray) MacKinnon, Marsha (Bernard) Delodder and Kelly (Andy) Craswell. Also survived by seven grandchildren Wade (Krista), Ashley (Alex), Jennifer, Ryan, Bonnie (Simon), Hannah, Jessie; three great grandchildren Ben, Lucy and Thomas; siblings, Rose Chowen, Jean (Jim Croken) Marchand, Edward (Theresa) Bernard and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by twin daughters Charlene and Darlene; parents, Eddy and Margaret Bernard; brothers Billy (Barbara) Bernard and Raymond Bernard; brothers-in-law John Chowen and Duane Marchand as well as nephew David and niece Lisa.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
Due to the current restrictions, a private family visitation and funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel.
The funeral service will be live streamed on Saturday , August 8th at 2:00 p.m.
