Julie Dorothy Caroline Hennessey (nee Prosper) RN
1931-2019
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2019 of Julie Hennessey (nee Prosper) of Charlottetown age 88 years.
Beloved wife of the late William M. "Willis" Hennessey and dear mother of Michael (Mary) , David, Paula (Greg) Kennedy and Chris (Connie). Loving Grammy of Billy, Dr. Jane (Matt Steeves), and Bobby (Sarah) Hennessey, Courtney and Nick (Purvi) Kennedy, Natalie Hennessey, and Great Grammy to James Steeves and Drew Hennessey. Julie is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Joanne Arthur (Jitter Coyle), Anna (Ron) Pettitt, brothers Bill (Kay) Prosper, Ernie (Winnie) Prosper and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Wilfred (Hilda) Prosper, Vincent Prosper, Myrtle McGuigan, Elsie "Yea" MacDonald (Peter), Frances (Hughie) Power and Veronica "Vonnie" Chaisson (Leo).
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday, July 18th , then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.Visiting hours on Wednesday , July 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Members of the Charlottetown Hospital Nurses Alumnae will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
