Dr. Sharon Anne Myers Bradley, EdD (Harvard) (July 30, 1957 - March 30, 2019)

"If you’re someone people count on, particularly in difficult moments, that’s a sign of a life lived honorably." - Rachel Maddow
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear wife, sister, aunt and friend, Sharon Myers Bradley. Sharon, of St Patrick’s Road, passed away on March 30th at the Kings County Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of John Bradley, and loving sister to Pat (Trishie) (Bert) MacKinnon (both deceased) and Harry (Lois) Myers. She was aunt to Blair (Laura) MacKinnon, Shannon (LaVerne) MacKinnon, Gary (Laura Lee) MacKinnon, Wendy (Lenny) Murphy, Dale (Connie) MacKinnon, Donna (John) Myers Cathcart, Donald (Sarah) Myers and Shawn (Melissa) Myers and to many grand nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished dearly. Also left to mourn Sharon are John's children, Pam (Gordon) Coffin, Beth (Dennis) Hilton, Michael and Patrick Bradley and many, many friends. Among Sharon’s accomplishments was her ability to connect people through music and food and her ability to touch people through her writing and teaching. Sharon was a graduate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and was selected by her peers in the Canadian Association for Educational Psychology as the author of the top Canadian Doctoral Thesis in 1997. As a teacher, a professor, a clinician, a psychologist, and as an extraordinary listener, Sharon touched many lives. She was fun, generous, wise, and loving.
