George Alfred "Benny" Larter
1930-2019
The death occurred peacefully with his family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, February 18, 2019 of George Alfred "Benny" Larter of Charlottetown age 89 years.
Survived by his wife Dinnie (nee Pater). Father of Sharlene (Mike) Quinn, Janice (Al) Hiller, Alfred (Rosemary) and Gary (Roxanne). Step father of Danny(Lisa) MacDonald, Jeanette (Kent) Wakelin, and Michelle (Colin) McAulay. Benny is also survived by three loving sisters, Vera Andrews, Velda Wuorinen (Surrey, BC), Phyllis (Fiddy) Doucette, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Edward and Hazel (Darte) Larter, siblings Hilda Gillespie, Irene Doyle, Eddie Larter, Ruby Larter, Eunice MacNeill and Audrey Walsh.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 22nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
