1930-2018

Peacefully with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, May 12, 2018 of Gladys Mary Murphy (nee Henry) of Charlottetown in her 88^th year.

Beloved wife of the late Joe Murphy. Dear mother of Debbie (deceased), Ambyr Murphy (Gerard Deveau),of Charlottetown, Alan (Lisa) of Rusticoville and Paul (Michelle) of St. Ann’s.Loving Nanny to grandchildren Kara Dawn Acorn (Jamie), Kyle Donovan (Christian), Morgan Murphy, Joelle Murphy, and great grandchildren Caleb, Caseon and Ki Acorn.

She was also predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Lottie Gill, and sisters Hazel Thompson, Bertha Birt and twin sister Florence Arsenault.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
