Charles Willard "Charlie" Gibbs
1939-2018
Peacefully with his family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, April 29, 2018 of Charles Willard "Charlie" Gibbs of Grand Tracadie age 79 years.
Husband of the late Patricia Veronica Oliver. Dear father David Gibbs (Jean Handrahan), Amanda Gibbs (Kent Rayner) and Charles Foster Gibbs (deceased). Loving Grampy of Kelsey, Joshua, Brandon, Cora, Jacob, Liam, Makayla and Jaxon. Brother of Joyce Gregory, Leona Dougan (Joe) and brother-in-law of Francis Lamphier, Frank Webster and Doris Gibbs. Charlie is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Nina Clow (Lloyd), Helena Clow (Brenton), Ada Lamphier, Shirley Skerry, Margaret (Wyman) MacAusland, Dale (Eric)Fraser , Grant Gibbs,Allan Gibbs and brother-in-law Don Gregory.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Suffolk Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
