Gerald Judson MacTavish

Peacefully with his family be his side at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, April 19, 2018 of Gerald Judson MacTavish of Cornwall.

Beloved husband of Isabelle MacTavish (nee MacLean) and dear father of Randy (Sheryl) MacTavish and Devena MacTavish. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren Chloe and Emma MacTavish, Blaze and Sierra Roberts; sister, Vaunda (Oliver) MacDonald; brother, Barry (Florence) MacTavish; sister and brothers-in-law Ada Compton, Jack MacLean, Sterling (Linda) MacLean, Irwin (Dianne) MacLean; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Artie and Gertie (nee Morrow) MacTavish; brother, Stephen Compton; sister, Devena Meney-Bernard (Hector Meney deceased); nephew, Mitch MacLean; and Isabelle’s parents Mac and Annie (nee Gass) MacLean.

No visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in the family plot in The West River United Church Cemetery, Cornwall. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the PEI Humane Society or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Arrangements entrusted to the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home.
