Wilma Catherine Sigsworth
1947-2017
Wilma Catherine Sigsworth formerly of Borden Carleton, passed away peacefully after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer at Whisperwood Villa on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 70 years.
Beloved daughter of the late Newman and Rita Sigsworth. Loving sister of Arlene (David) Lipton, Anita (Ken) Kelly, Cathy (Wayne) Young, Keith (Alma) Sigsworth, Bill (Debby) Sigsworth, Frank (Val) Sigsworth and Denise (deceased). Wilma is also lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews, Sonya, Taylor and Jade, Ryan and Rachelle, Patrick and Kyle, Lindsey and Dylan, Britanny, Kalem, Jean-Marc and also great nieces and nephews.
Wilma graduated from the Charlottetown Hospital School of Nursing and went on to nurse at Camp Hill Hospital in Halifax.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday, September 26th , then transferred to St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, St. Georges PEI, for funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. George’s Parish Cemetery. There will be no public visitation by request.
