Leona Helen Mullen (nee Atkins)

Peacefully ,surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 of Helen "Leona" Mullen formerly of the Tracadie area age 83 years.

Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Mullen and dear mother of Jimmy (deceased) , Jo-Ann Mullen and Colleen Mullen-Doyle. Beloved Grandma of Daniel Mullen (Santiaga), Amy Mullen (Trevor) and Catherine Doyle. Great Grandma of Grayson and Avah. Mother-in-law of Bobby Doyle and Debbie Campbell. Sister of Edna Brunkhorst (John), Marion Brown (Ed), Tom Atkins (Pat) and Brenda Bangay (Don). She was also predeceased by her parents Jim and Zilla Atkins, in-laws Fred and Annie Mullen, sister Shirley Whitehouse, brother Leo Atkins and infant brother Brendon.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visiting hours on Thursday, April 6^th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 8^th at 11:00 a.m. from St. Bonaventure’s Church, Tracadie. Interment in the parish cemetery.
