Barbara "Marie" Laybolt (nee McGregor)

Surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 of Barbara "Marie" Laybolt in her 78^th year.

Beloved wife of Ivan Laybolt and devoted mother to Michael (Paula), Robert, Christine (Neil) Gallant, Colleen and Jason. Loving Nanny to Crystal MacDonald, Tera Joseph, Aaron Gallant, Katie Hood, Samantha Gallant, Melissa Laybolt and adoring Great-Nanny to Mackenzie, Noah, Ava and Coby. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Survived by her brother James (Eva) McGregor and predeceased by her daughter Debbie Laybolt, parents Frank and Annie McGregor, brother Fred McGregor and sisters Helen Murphy, Patricia Trainor and Tresa Connell.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Unit 3 at the QEH and the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home for their compassion, kindness and care. Marie’s smile, loving nature and fun personality will be missed by all who knew her.
