James Allan Hogan
1940-2017
Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Thursday, February 23, 2017 of Mr. J. Allan Hogan (Sgt. in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals 1958 - 1971) of Charlottetown, age 76 years. Beloved husband of Doris Hogan (nee MacDonald) and dear father of Janice Hogan-Curran (Emmett) and Michelle Hogan (Ronnie MacDougall). He is also survived by four loving grandchildren Melissa Curran, Vanessa Curran, Daria MacDougall and Ava MacDougall; sisters and brother, Marilyn Guty (Wally), Donnie Hogan (Darlene) and Liz Smith (Peter); his aunt, Mary Nantes and sister-in-law, Joyce MacKenzie; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Ruby (nee Sentner) Hogan.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
No visitation by personal request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
