Georgina "Jean" MacLean
1940-2017
Peacefully, at home in Montague, on Thursday, February, 16,
2017, the death occurred of Georgina "Jean" MacLean (nee
Laybolt), in her 77 year.
She is survived by
her beloved partner James "Jim" Baldwin. Loving mother of
Pius (Debbie deceased), Sharon (Stan) MacDonald, Diane, David (Sheri),
Brian (Trish) and Kimberly (Shane). Also lovingly remembered by her
sisters, Eileen (Harry) MacGuigan, Annie (Lester Wood deceased),
Doreen Clarke, Charmaine Anderson; brothers Clarence Laybolt
(Catherine), Ivan Laybolt (Marie), 19 grandchildren and 6 great
grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents David and Eileen (nee
Deveaux) Laybolt; husband John MacLean, sons Frank, Robert, Gary
"Midget" MacLean and brother Daniel Laybolt.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home until Monday, then transferred to St. Andrew’s
Church, Mount Stewart for funeral mass at 11:00 a.m . Interment will
take place at a later date in the parish cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00
p.m.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers
donations in memory of Jean may be made to Home Care Palliative
Care.
