As the result of a motor vehicle accident in Lincoln, NB on Sunday, November 27th, 2016 of Sapper Erik Bronson Bernard, Oromocto, NB, formerly of Scotchfort, PE age 23 years.

Sapper Bernard was posted to 5 CDSB Gagetown, NB. He was employed at 4 Engineer Support Regiment as a Combat Engineer.

Loving son of Gloria Bernard and Steven Myers, and brother of Gregory (deceased in 2004). Beloved grandson of Elva and the late Robert Myers and the late Albert and Margaret (Scully) Bernard.

Erik is also fondly remembered by aunts and uncles; Joe Dan Bernard, Elsipogtog, NB, Brenda Bernard, Morell, PE, Patsy Bernard, Charlottetown, PE, Al Bernard, Scotchfort, PE, Peter (Noelle) Bernard, Scotchfort, PE, Emily (Daryl Paul) Bernard, Morell, PE, Walter (Angie) Bernard, Elsipogtog, NB, Rita Bernard (John Scully), Scotchfort, PE, Randy Myers (Rhonda MacKay), Stratford, PE, Paul (Laura) Myers, Kitimat, BC, Colleen Myers, Ten Mile House and numerous cousins.

Resting at the Abeqweit First Nation Chapel, Scotchfort, PE, for visitation on Sunday, December 4th from 2:00 p.m. until Monday, December 5th at 10:30 a.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 5th with funeral at 11:00 a.m. held in St. Bonaventure’s Roman Catholic Church, 1289 Donaldston Road, Tracadie Cross PE. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
