Vernon Joseph Dennis
1961-2016
Peacefully with his family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, November 4, 2016 of Vernon Joseph Dennis of Charlottetown age 55 years.
Beloved husband of Rose (nee Gavin) and dear father of Amry Gavin (Mike Kadyk), Mark, Colton, and J.R. (Amanda Rogers). Loving Poppie to Malia, Corbin, Lincoln and grandson to be Jayden. Son of the late Vernon "Super" Dennis and Betty Dennis (Gordon). Son-in-law of Stella and the late Cecil Gavin. Loving brother to Mike (Sibyl), Mark (deceased), Vanessa, Nicholas (Nicole), Christopher and Chad. Brother-in-law of Carrie (Walter) MacQuarrie, Sharon (Andy) Shea, Charlene Gavin and Wanda (Percy) Henry. Vernon is also fondly remembered by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by brothers-in-law Harold and Floyd Gavin.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Tuesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
