Janet Marie Smith

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, October 22, 2016 of Janet M. Smith of Charlottetown, age 74 years. Loving mother of Debbie Trainor (Robert Guitare), Cornwall, Donna Dingwell (Mike Melvin), Charlottetown, David Trainor, Alberta, Cheryl Koughan (Leo), Donagh, special grandson Jamie Trainor (Paige), Saskatchewan and their father, Louis Trainor-deceased. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristen, Christopher, Katherine and Robert Rush, Dylan and Jarred Dingwell, Lucas and Rebecca Trainor, Kelsey Ford; great grandchildren Jordan Legere, Hudson and Noella Trainor, Carter DesRoches and Jayde Doucette; brothers and sisters Noreen Gallant (Walter), Rita Shaw, Stella Trottier (Lou), Harold Smith (Annita), Barb Starr (Tom) and Billy Smith (Janice).

She was predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Mary (nee Aylward) Smith; sister, Marge MacMillan and her grandson Kyle Dingwell.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday afternoon, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.
