Imelda Noonan

Peacefully at the Prince Edward Home on Thursday, September 22, 2016 of Imelda Noonan of Charlottetown in her 98^th year .

Beloved wife of the late Daniel Noonan and dear mother of Helen (Ronnie) Godfrey of North Wiltshire, Rosemary (Norm) MacDonell of Charlottetown and Connie (Philip) Elderkin of Mermaid. Imelda is also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by her brothers and sisters and also by children Paula MacEachern, Gerald Noonan, Alice Muise, Aileen Noonan and Robert Francis in infancy.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

If so contributions in memory of Imelda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI.
