Basil James McCann

Peacefully at the P.E.I. Atlantic Baptist Home on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 of Basil James McCann formerly of East Royalty and Toronto age 84 years.

Born in Kelly’ Cross he was the son of the late James and Hilda (Murray) McCann. Dear brother of Mary Medwedchuk (Walter deceased), Edmonton, Alta., Rose Flood (Kevin) and Elaine Cudmore (Brendon deceased) of Charlottetown. He is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a brother Gerald in infancy and good friend Austin Munro

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10:00 a..m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
