Richard David Gallant

After a lengthy illness, Richard David Gallant passed away in Hamilton, Ontario on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the age of 68 years.

He lived a full life, traveling worldwide as part of his 35 year career in the Air Force. He was predeceased by his parents J. Frank and Kathleen (Kitty) Gallant and by two of his brothers, Deryl (1998) and Roger (2015). His is survived by his brother Gary, Sarnia, Ontario, Frankie (Audrey) Stratford, P.E.I., and sister Gladys Martin (Gary), Chatham, Ontario. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families who he adored.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. in the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. Graveside prayers will be held in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial in the family plot.
