Vera Kathleen MacKay (nee Hancock)

The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home of Vera Kathleen MacKay (nee Hancock) on Saturday, May 21, 2016 age 96 years.

Born in London, England, December 19,1919, emigrated to Canada, January, 1946, as war bride of the late Elmore M. MacKay of Stanley Bridge. Predeceased by sister, Ruby Hemistock at age 96. Survived by two sons Leslie and Lyle, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A private service was held at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2016. Interment will take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
