Tara "Gert" MacDonald-Haakenson
1962-2016
Peacefully at her home in Berwyn, Alberta on Saturday, April 16, 2016 of Tara "Gert" MacDonald-Haakenson formerly of Charlottetown age 54 years. Beloved wife of the late Vern Haakenson and dear sister of Randy (Nicole) MacDonald, Hal (Cathy) MacDonald, Jennie MacDonald, Willie (France) MacDonald and Joanne Berti.
She was predeceased by her parents Joseph F. "Plum" and Vaunda "Bonnie" (nee Ferguson) MacDonald; brothers and sisters Lloyd, Peggy Bell, Barry, Kay McKerchar and Mackie MacDonald.
Cremation has taken place.
A committal service will be held in the People's Cemetery, Charlottetown on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10 a.m.
Memorial contributions in Tara's memory may be made to the PEI Humane Society.
