Eileen Matilda Ross

Peacefully, surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 of Mrs. Eileen M. Ross (nee Ahearn) of Fredericton in her 91^st year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert L. Ross and dear mother of Carrie (Gerald) Ross, Summerside, John (Elva) Ahearn, Hamilton, Ont., Danny (Catherine) Ross, Emerald and Gary (Cindy) Ross, Emerald. She is also survived by stepsons Gerald (Carrie) Ross, Summerside and James (Marion) Ross, Charlottetown; stepdaughter, Thelma (Junior) Chappell, Summerside; sisters, Helen Lowther, Borden-Carlton and Ada Kilbride, Summerside and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Hugh and Martha (nee Hateley) Ahearn; sons, Charlie, Michael and Russell Ross; sister, Annie Deegan and her brother Russell Ahearn.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Interment later in Fredericton Cemetery.

Visiting hours on Saturday 2 - 4 p.m.

Branch #9 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Veteran’s Tribute Service at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:45 p.m.
