Bruce Wheeler

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, January 23, 2016 , Bruce Wheeler of Charlottetown age 81 years. Beloved husband of Nalda Wheeler (Webster). Dear father of his daughters, Terri Bonnevie (Blair), Judy Brown (Danny), Catherine, Sharon Kyle (Bill), Kimberly Annett (Ira), Andrea (Lawrence Ong), and Christine (Peter Fuller), son Wayne (Yvonne) , New Brunswick; step daughter, Cheryl Desjardins (Bert); step son, Wayne Hamm (Judy); sister Marion Noble of Newfoundland; half sister Marilyn MacGillivray (Robert), New Brunswick; sister-in-law Lena Webster (Ray); brother-in-law Don Webster (Barb); step sisters Sadie Normore and Viola Lucas; step brothers Vernon and Keith Woolridge of Ontario. Also sadly missed by grandchildren and great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Predeceased by his daughter Carolyn, and granddaughter Cassandra .

Bruce will be remembered for his commitment to Junior and Senior hockey, winning the Senior Allan Cup in 1990-91. A member of Community Baptist Church where he served on various committees for more than twenty years.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home. By request there will be no visiting hours. A private service will be held at Community Baptist Church. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Flowers gratefully declined but donations to the Community Baptist Church Mortgage Fund would be welcomed.
