Allan James MacDonald

Peacefully , with his family by his side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, January 16, 2016 of Allan James MacDonald of Rice Point age 87 years.

Beloved husband of Mary (nee MacKinnon) and dear father of Norma MacDonald of Hampton, Charles (Shelly) of Rice Point, Linda Furjan of Clyde River, John (Tina) of Charlottetown, Erma MacDonald of Rice Point, Denise Irving of Nanimo B.C., Paul (Kim) of Canoe Cove, and Mark (Jody) of Rice Point. Loving grandfather of Peter MacDonald, Natalia Furjan-Collins (Ryan), Daniele Furjan-MacLean (Matt), Angela and Sarah MacDonald, Allan MacNeil, Austin, Malcolm, Liam and Bella MacDonald, Sophie and Adam MacDonald. Allan is also lovingly remembered by 5 great grandchildren and his sister, Mary Richards of Lower Sackville, N.S He was predeceased by his parents John and Lillian (Chessier) MacDonald, his brother Spurgeon, sister Reta Lamont and infant sister Julie.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral home for visiting hours on Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday with funeral service from Canoe Cove Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
