Helene MacKay

The death occurred peacefully at the MacMillan Lodge on November 18, 2015 of Helene MacKay (nee England). Born in Travellers Rest on July 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Agnes England.

She was the wife of the late George MacKay and they resided in Harrington, PEI.

Due to ill health she spent her last ten days at the MacMillan Lodge, Charlottetown.

She was predeceased by her husband George and sons Howard and Norman.

Helene was a long time member of Winsloe Lions Club and Harrington Women’s Institute. She was known for her hospitality, homemade quilts and slippers. She will be truly missed by her many friends and neighbours.

Arrangements entrusted to Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21^st at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. with Lions Club International Memorial Service at 6:45 p.m.

In remembrance of Helene, memorial donations may be made to Winsloe Lions Community Services Fund.
